Kisenyi FC starlet Bashir Waleed has emerged victorious, beating Mengo City’s Paulo Baguma and Ian Tugume to win the prestigious Ssaka Bulk Hauliers Player of the Month Award for February 2025.
Waleed’s impressive performance in the Frenzy Edition of the betPawa Futsal Super League earned him top spot, with an impressive 6 goals. This led him to convincingly win the Technical Team vote, securing 42.8% of the votes, which accounted for 60% of the total vote.
In the public vote, which accounted for 40% of the total vote, Waleed garnered 38% of the votes on Twitter and Instagram, translating to 15.2% of the total vote, and ultimately securing second place behind Mengo City’s goalie Paulo Baguma.
Notable past winners of this prestigious award include Abasi Muluya Junior (Park FC), Gaddafi Bazanyanengo (Kabuusu Clouds), and Samuel Omara (Mengo City).
