The thrilling Matchday 20 of the betPawa Futsal Super League came to a close on Friday evening at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena, with three teams emerging victorious.

Aidenal FC secured a convincing 4-2 win over Kisugu FC, thanks to Swalley Kaboyo’s impressive brace and goals from Kenneth Kisiro and Charles Ssebutinde. This victory propelled Aidenal to 16 points from 20 games, a significant milestone in their campaign.

The Mengo derby between Kisenyi FC and Mengo City lived up to its billing, with Kisenyi FC emerging victorious with a 4-2 scoreline. Julius Kassaga’s double and goals from Abdullahi Ahmed and Shafici Darir sealed the win for Kisenyi, while AbdiKarim Tereba and Herbert Kalema scored consolation goals for Mengo City.

In the final match of the day, Lubaga Grameen continued their impressive run with a 5-3 win over Luzira. Top scorer Michael Lubowa netted twice, taking his tally to an impressive 35 total, while Abdi Nasir, Abdul Karim, and Lawrence Ssembatya contributed one goal each. Despite a spirited fightback from Luzira, Lubaga Grameen held on for their fifth consecutive win.

On Thursday night, Kawempe FC made history by securing their first win of the season with a 5-2 victory over Edgars Youth Programme. Nansana ASKA staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Kabowa Dream Team 6-3, while champions Park FC continued their dominance with a 3-0 win over KJT FC.
