As the betPawa Futsal Super League matchday 12 concluded on Friday evening at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena, Leaders Park FC dropped more points while Mengo held on to stun Lubaga Grameen.

Park, having won 10 of their 11 games this season, aimed to make it 11 out of 12, but they were held to a 5-all draw by a resilient Nansana ASKA side.

The game started with Park falling behind as Sinani Kiyaga tapped in from close range for ASKA. Samuel Kalyango equalized for Park from the spot, but Kiyaga responded to restore ASKA’s lead. Ali Miti converted a penalty just before the break, leaving Park trailing 3-1.

Despite the disappointment, Park remains five points ahead of second-placed FC Luzira with 33 points from 12 games, while ASKA sits fifth with 22 points.

In other Friday games, Majara Kenneth’s five goals helped Kisugu FC to a 7-all draw against Kisenyi FC, with Ategeka Marvin, Dahir Ahmed, and Abdulkarim Abdullahi each scoring twice for Kisenyi.

Meanwhile, Mengo City shocked Lubaga Grameen 6-3, with Male Antony scoring a hat-trick, supported by Farouk Tumwesigye’s brace and William Sseguya’s penalty. Abdinasir Ahmed scored a brace for Lubaga Grameen.
