FC Luzira and Pitch Pirates secured their spots in the Futsal Uganda Cup semifinals following victories in the quarterfinals on Thursday evening.
Luzira clinched a hard-fought 6-4 win against Al Haramen, with Ogwang Joel shining by scoring four crucial goals for the Futsal Super League side. Edmund Bithum and Joseph Ssembatya also contributed to Luzira’s victory with their goals.

Al Haramen’s Iymas Omran managed a hat-trick, while Muhammad Abdirahman Muhammad added another goal in a spirited effort.
In the other match, Pitch Pirates staged a remarkable comeback from a two-goal deficit to force a thrilling 3-3 draw against First Touch Sports, eventually triumphing 3-2 in the penalty shootout.

In normal time, Ssewalu Raymond (2) and Nyanja Shahab scored for First Touch, while Victor Chacha, Francis Jurua, and Joseph Kembo netted for Pitch Pirates.
The remaining quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Friday, 9th February, with Kisenyi FC facing Kabowa Dream Team and Park FC taking on Edgars Youth Programme.
