Futsal Uganda Cup: Kabowa, ASKA secure vital victories in group B

Kabowa Dream Team and All Stars Kampala Association ( ASKA) started off their Futsal Uganda Cup campaigns with vital victories on Friday evening at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Kabowa held on to defeat First Touch Sports 1-0 in the first game of the day before ASKA overcame Friends of Football 4-3 in the late kickoff.

Lutwama Derrick was the star man for Kabowa as he netted the game’s lone goal in the first half to brush off First Touch Sports.

The second game of the day though was entertaining as it was end to end, but at the end of the day ASKA secured the victory.

In order to secure the victory, Kayongo Ahmed Miti netted twice while Emmanuel Mawa and Kawooya Kenneth added one each.

Meanwhile, Enock Ssebagala, Lubowa Michael and Mugenyi Christian found the back of the net for Friends of Football who ended up losing.

Both Kabowa and ASKA move to three points in group B and will be back in action on 22nd September.

Next Friday will be group C action as FC Kisenyi plays Pitch Pirates while Mengo FC will battle God Glory-Katale.
