Mengo City Women secured their place in the Women’s Futsal Uganda Cup final after defeating Nansana ASKA Women 3–1 in a semifinal played at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
Mengo started on the front foot and took the lead in the 8th minute through Angel Nakitto, who finished calmly to give her side an early advantage.
ASKA responded positively and drew level five minutes later. Ramla Nalwanga found space and struck in the 13th minute to bring the match back to 1–1.
The game remained competitive, but Mengo regained control before halftime. Ruth Monica restored the lead in the 16th minute, ensuring Mengo headed into the break with a 2–1 advantage.
In the second half, Mengo managed the game well, keeping possession and limiting ASKA’s attacking chances while continuing to threaten going forward.
Their efforts paid off in the 32nd minute when Nakitto scored her second goal of the night to seal a 3–1 victory and confirm Mengo City’s place in the final.
