Brian Olwa has been named March’s Ssaka Bulk Hauliers Player of the Month in the betPawa Futsal Super League following a series of standout performances that propelled his team’s success.
The dynamic futsal star outperformed strong competition from Mengo City’s Ian Tugume and Park FC’s Jalil Zimula to claim the prestigious award. The winner was determined through a weighted voting system combining 40% fan votes and 60% technical panel votes.
While Olwa placed third in public voting (8.4%) behind Tugume (18%) and Zimula (13.6%), his dominant 33% share of the technical vote proved decisive.
His combined 41.4% score narrowly edged out Tugume’s 38%, with Zimula finishing third at 20.6%.
The monthly award recognizes exceptional players who demonstrate outstanding skill, consistency, and game-changing impact.
