Perfect Start for Four: Park, Crown, Kabowa, and Nansana ASKA Shine

Park FC, Crown Lubiri, Kabowa Dream Team, and Nansana ASKA extended their flawless starts to the 2024/25 betPawa Futsal Super League, each clinching their second consecutive victories on Friday evening at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

After a 5-3 win against Kisugu in their opener, Crown Lubiri showcased resilience to edge past Kabuusu Clouds 4-3. Hassan Mohamud opened the scoring for Crown, but a brace from Gaddafi Bazanyanengo put Clouds ahead at halftime. Crown equalized through Hassan before Julius Ssenoga restored Clouds’ lead. However, late goals from Abdinasir Omar and Abukar Kulane sealed Crown’s thrilling comeback.

Defending champions Park FC earned a gritty 4-2 win over Kisugu FC. Captain Shafiq Mulangira led the charge with two goals, while Abasi Junior Muluya and Derrick Walugembe added one each. Innocent Atiku netted both goals for Kisugu in a valiant effort.

Kabowa Dream Team left it late to snatch a dramatic 3-2 victory over Kisenyi. Substitute Mohammed Ali was the hero, scoring twice in the second half, including a last-gasp winner.

Nansana ASKA also impressed, cruising to a 5-1 win over Edgars Youth Programme. Andrew Mwebasa gave Edgars an early lead, but ASKA responded emphatically. Isa Kisule netted a hat-trick, with Jacob Opio and Perfect Muzusangabo completing the scoring for a commanding win.

Elsewhere, Busunju Spaks celebrated their first victory of the season with a dramatic 6-5 comeback against Grameen. Collins Talemwa stole the show, scoring five goals and assisting the sixth to inspire Spaks to a memorable win.

In the evening’s other fixture, Mengo City and QC Mbarara played out an entertaining 3-3 draw, earning both teams their first points of the campaign.

As Matchday Two concludes, the league action continues on Saturday, 23rd November, with another set of thrilling fixtures at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
