The 2024/25 Futsal Uganda Cup Round of 16 is set to begin on Friday evening with four thrilling matches at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
Debutants Fiyore SC, who secured their spot by eliminating QC Mbarara in the qualifiers, will open proceedings against Lubaga Grameen Youth.
Defending champions Park FC, coached by Sula Matovu, will start their title defense against Edgars Youth Programme in the second game of the day. Park FC clinched their first Uganda Cup title last season after defeating Luzira FC in the final.
In the third match, Nansana ASKA Academy will face off against Kisenyi FC, while Kisugu FC takes on First Touch Sports in the last game of the evening.
The remaining Round of 16 fixtures will be played next Friday to determine the quarterfinalists.
This prestigious knockout tournament, founded in 2017, has seen previous winners including Yeak Kabowa, Luzira Thunders, and Dream Team Kabowa. Park FC joined this elite group last season.
The tournament winner will go on to face the 2024/25 Futsal Super League champions in the Futsal Super Cup, which will conclude the season.
