QC Mbarara will face fellow debutants Fiyore Sports Club in the final qualification round for a place in the round of 16.
This follows their impressive victories on Friday evening at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
QC Mbarara dominated Lamansia with an 8-3 victory in their first official futsal match. Idi Babu, Vincent Abigaba, Kenneth Majara, and Derick Mubiru each scored twice to lead the Mbarara-based side to an easy win.
Fiyore Sports Club, meanwhile, had to wait until the second half of their game to secure a 2-0 win against Kabowa Dream Team, with Abdiweli Sabca and Mohammed Gaabow netting the crucial goals for the Somali side.
QC and Fiyore will now battle for a ultimate spot in the round of 16 next Friday at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
Defending winners Park FC, Kisenyi FC, Edgar’s Youth Programme, Lubaga Grameen, Grameen Academy, Kabuusu Clouds, Busunju Sparks, First Touch Sports, Motion Sports, Crown Lubiri, Aidenal, Entebbe Cheaters, Mengo Sports Academy, Kisugu FC, and Nansana ASKA Academy have already secured their places in the round of 16.
