Teletubbies Primary School and Rays of Grace Primary School were impressive as the inaugural Primary Schools Futsal League (PSFL) kicked off on Saturday, 1 July at O’Kla Futsal Arena in Old Kampala.
Both sides played three games, won twice and drew the other as Matchday One ended successfully.
Teletubbies, in their first game of the day inspired by Bateganya Rahim, put 10 goals past White Angels Primary School to set their tone for the day. Rahim scored five of those goals.
Rahim also helped Teletubbies win their second game when he found the back of the net once as his side defeated Crayons Preparatory School 3-0. Darren Ssekajja scored the other two goals for Teletubbies.
Meanwhile, Ray of Grace edged past Twinbrooks International School 2-1 in their first game before obliterating White Angels 9-1 in their second game of the day. Kavuma Douglas scored seven of those eleven goals for Rays of Grace in those two games.

Teletubbies and Rays of Grace faced each other in their third and last game of the day, and the game ended tied at 1-all.
Mukisa Jowedi gave Ray of Grace an early lead, but Habaguhirwa Bramu responded for Teletubbies after the break to ensure the game ended with nothing separating the two sides.
After the three games, Kavuma leads the top scorers chats with seven goals. He is followed closely by Bateganya, who is at six.
Games will resume next Saturday, 8th July at O’Kla Futsal Arena with the Matchday two fixtures.
