The betPawa Futsal Super League returns on Friday, March 7th, 2025, after a month-long break. Mengo City Captain Anthony Male is optimistic about his team’s chances against QC Mbarara.
Despite being unbeaten in their last 11 league games, Mengo City trails leaders Park FC by four points. Male is determined to keep the pressure on Park FC.
“QC Mbarara is an exciting team, but they can’t stand in our way,” Male said in an interview with FAU media. “We’re chasing the league and Uganda Cup titles, and we need to reduce the gap with Park FC.”
In their previous encounter, Mengo City and QC Mbarara played out a 3-3 draw. Mengo City currently sits second in the league, while QC Mbarara is ninth with 11 points from 12 games.
The league resumes with six matches, including the encounter between Kabowa Dream Team and Kisenyi FC, followed by Mengo City vs. QC Mbarara at 9:00 pm at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
