betPawa Futsal Super League: Kisenyi, Lubaga and Park impress as matchday one climaxes

Kisenyi FC, Lubaga Grameen and Park FC opened up their 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League campaigns with vital victories on day two of matchday one.

In the opening clash, Kisenyi sealed a 3-2 triumph over Kisugu FC with goals from Julius Kassagga, Hussein Dahir, and Marvin Ategeka, while Luswabi Umar netted twice for Kisugu.

Lubaga Grameen, formerly Yeak Kabowa, claimed a 4-2 victory against rivals Mengo City in the second match. Lubowa Michael scored twice, and Abdi Karim Omar and Abdi Nasir Ali each contributed a goal, while Male Anthony and Umar Ssebuliba found the net for Mengo City.

Closing the day, Park FC secured a 5-2 win over Nansana ASKA, thanks to a brace from Samuel Kayongo and goals from Idi Babu and Jalil Zimula.

As matchday one concluded, Kampala Junior Team leads the standings with three points, while newcomers Kawempe find themselves at the bottom.

Looking ahead, matchday two is set to commence on Thursday, November 30th, and conclude on Friday, December 1st, with all matches taking place at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
