FAU to organize FUFA Futsal Beginners Coaching Course

The Futsal Association Uganda, FAU, and FUFA have released plans to organize a course for FUFA Futsal Beginners Coaches from 26th -30th June 2023.

This training which will take place for five days at the FUFA SIG Offices in Mengo will be aimed at training coaches about all the aspects of the game of the Futsal.

it will be a 40-hour course with 8 hours covered daily in both theory and practicals.

This latest development was confirmed by the FAU chairman Hamzah Jjunju on Tuesday evening.

“Futsal is all about flair and skill in executing the game’s tactical aspects. Hence FAU working hand in hand with FUFA has seen it a necessity to train coaches so as they are able to teach the aspects of the game to the futsal players” Hamzah said before adding;

“The journey to be a stand out as a futsal coach starts at one attaining the FUFA Futsal Beginners Coaching certificate. More levels of one being a top-notch futsal coach are to be accomplished in phases.

“With many teachers of the futsal game in place, the future of the game in Uganda will be bright.

This is the second-course FAU is organizing after the 2022 FIFA MA Futsal Referees course which brought together 17 Elite Futsal Referees including two female referees Dorcus Namukisa and Rashida Adams.

Each person will be eligible to attend the course after paying shs. 150,000/- into the Futsal Association Uganda Account.

The deadline for payment and registration has been set on 15th June to enable the Association to organize for the smooth running of the course.
