The Futsal Association of Uganda ( FAU) has confirmed that 2022 Annual General Assembly will be hosted at Kenendia Hotel in Kampala on Friday, 26th August 2022.
This will be the second AGM since the Association become a FUFA member, milestone achieved in September, 2019 during FUFA’s 95th Ordinary Assembly that was held in Adjumani.
The first AGM was held in September 2020 at Kenendia Hotel where all stakeholders of the game from the FAU executive committee, Futsal Club representatives, FUFA representatives, the media, Futsal Association Uganda member associations-8 Futsal Super league Clubs, Futsal Players Association, Futsal, Referees Association, Futsal Coaches Asssociation, Futsal Women Association, Futsal Youth Association, Futsal Tertiary Institutions Association, Futsal Secondary Schools Association and Futsal Primary Schools Association were each represented by two delegates(male & female) except for the Futsal Women Association.
This Assembly is supposed to take place annually but due to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, it was never held in 2021.
FAU was founded in 2015 and the core founding members were Jjunju Hamza, Lugemwa Patrick, Nandigobe Richard Semanda, and Pius Serugo.
