KJT wins 2021/22 Futsal Super League

Kampala Junior Team have been crowned 2021/22 Futsal Super League champions.

They is after they finished top of the fourth edition of the prestigious championship.

KJT finished the season level on points with second-placed Park FC (30), but had a better head to head advantage over their rivals.

The Mohammad Sembatya coached side defeated Kisenyi FC (4-0) and Aidenal School of Soccer and Art (5-2) on the final day of the season to lift their first Futsal Super League trophy.

Park also won both their games ( 9-0 against ASKA and 10-0 against Kabowa Dream) but narrowly failed to defend the title they won in 2021.

Park’s Abasi Muluya won the golden boot as he netted 33 goals in just 10 games while Brain Drileba won the best goalkeeper gong for conceding the least number of goals this season.

KJT’s Abasi Kyeyune was voted the 2021/22 Futsal Super League Most Valuable Player for his outstanding performance during his side’s incredible trophy triumph.
