betPawa Futsal Super League leaders, Park FC experienced their first setback of the season on Friday evening, settling for a 2-2 draw against Kabowa Dream Team.
Despite winning their initial nine games, Park fell short in their quest for a perfect ten, facing a resilient Kabowa side.
The match commenced with Park taking an early lead through Michael Abura’s goal, but Kabowa responded swiftly, equalizing with Kintu Mansour’s effort.
Just before halftime, Park regained the lead with Gibran Nduhukire’s superb strike. However, their advantage was short-lived as Baker Nsubuga leveled the score for Kabowa in the second half.

Despite dropping points, Park still leads the league with 28 points from 10 games. They are now hold a four-point gap over second-placed FC Luzira.
Luzira secured a 5-3 victory over Kisugu on Friday, with Ivan Alioni scoring twice, and Joel Ogwang, Edmund Bithum, and Arafat Sentongo each contributing a goal.

In another fixture of the day, KJT and Mengo City played to a 3-3. Joseph Kembo, Reagan Kimbugwe and Francis Jurua scored for KJT while Herbert Kalema(2) and Abdul Karim Tebera got Mengo’s goals in the entertaining game.

The first round of the 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League will conclude next week, featuring three games on both Thursday and Friday evenings.
