The 2025 Ramadan Cup concluded in spectacular fashion, with Horseed FC emerging as champions in the Senior Category after a gripping final against defending champions Concern FC.
Concern FC took an early lead, but Horseed FC’s determination shone through as Elyas Omran struck the equalizer, leveling the score at 1-1. With neither side able to break the deadlock in regular time, the match went to penalties. In a tense shootout, Horseed FC triumphed 3-2 to claim the coveted title.
In the Legends Category, ByAllah FC delivered a commanding performance, overpowering ISKASHI with a 6-1 victory to secure the championship in style.
The Serie B final offered another thriller, as SOSO FC narrowly edged Dekadaha FC 5-4 in a high-scoring showdown to lift the division title.
These vibrant, well-organized competitions—closely followed by the Football Association of Uganda (FAU)—were proudly brought to life by the Somali community in Uganda under the banner of the Somali Sports Association Uganda (SSAU). The tournament celebrated not only athletic excellence, but also unity and sportsmanship throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
