William Blick To Grace Super League Opener
Former Uganda Olympics Committee President and IOC EXCOM Member William Blick has confirmed attendance for the match-day One of the 2022 Futsal Super League season.
Blick will be the Chief Guest as the season gets underway on Sunday at Old Kampala with eight matches on the menu.
Blick expressed his delight to watch Futsal and hinted on the possibility of it becoming the first team sport for Uganda at the Olympics.
“I will be happy to attend the event to support our youth in this beautiful game of football/futsal,” wrote Blick.
“Futsal is an olympic sport at the Youth Olympic Games that gives Uganda a very good opportunity to qualify our 1st ever team sport. I look forward to the great organisation and exciting football.”
It promises to be an exciting season with games going to be broadcast live on FUFA TV.
FAU also added Lumaatic Technologies as a Digital partner.
All the Eight teams – Park FC, Kisenyi FC, Aidenal SOSA, Asca Oldies, KJT, Kabowa Dream Team, Luzira Thunders and Talent Bridge FC – will twice be in action every weekend.
