
Twinbrooks, Katende Stanley impress as first round of the Primary Schools Futsal League climaxes
The first round of the Primary Schools Futsal League ( PFSL) finally came to climax on Saturday afternoon with seven games played at the O’Kla Futsal Arena.
Twinbrooks was the most impressive side of the day as they won all three of their games. They also had the star boy of the day as Katende Stanle found the back of the net seven times in just three games.
The youngster scored two goals as Twinbrooks defeated Crayons 2-0 in the first game before netting thrice as his side defeated White Angels 5-1 in their second.
The third game (for Twinbrooks) saw again Katende net twice as they secure a vital 3-2 victory.
Another side which collected maximum points on the day was Rays of Grace who won both of their game. They were handed a walkover against Teletubbies, who fielded an ineligible player before holding on to beat Crayons 4-3.
The first round was played by the Primary 6 U12 pupils whose results will be used in selecting the overall champion of the inaugural PSFL next year after the Primary 5/U11 and Primary 7/U13 have also finished playing
The Primary 5/U11 will play in the third term between October and November while Primary 7/U13 will play in first term next year between February and March.
