Statement on the strategic plan status
The Futsal Association Uganda has kick started Phase three of the 2020-2024 FAU Strategic planning process-a continuation of the revetilising endeavor.
After successful completion of the Strength,Weakness,Opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis and revision of the Association’s Vision,Values and Mission, FAU 2020-2024 Strategic plan has now shifted to the Strategic Objectives level.
This level will rotate around the apparent Strategic objectives that will have a high, positive impact on FAU over the period of the 2020-2024 strategic plan period.
The spirit behind is to gather information that will enable FAU to have strategic objectives that have a positive correlation with it’s sporting practices.
“At this level we are done with phase one and phase two where at least we have a Vision,Mission and Values in place so next step is putting in place strategic objectives because these are of a clear impact or benefit to FAU as they will help us to achieve high and positive impacts for the association to move for the next five years,we believe we are moving on the right pace and we are ready to achieve what we set out to achieve, hopefully by end of July we shall have completed the whole process and we shall have our strategic plan ready and out to be followed and implemented” FAU Chairman Hamza Junju.
Ultimately, a set of strategic objectives will be achieved by FAU through the 2020-2024 strategic plan period.
Phase three process will be internal and the FAU executive committee will receive a set of strategic objectives to be achieved by the association over the strategic plan period.
The process commenced on Monday 15th June 2020 and will close Sunday 21st June 2020.
The purpose behind developing a long term strategic plan is to primarily improve the internal performance of the association and align its activities to resonate with FUFA’s Vision of making Uganda a football power house in Africa and the world.
