It wasn’t a warm reception to the 5-Aside showpiece as Kampala Junior Team touched to the court for the first time. They curtain raised the 2021 Futsal Super League with swallowing 11 for 7 against mates Big Talent Soccer Academy.

However, games come thick and fast and they hope to have corrected some of their mistakes ahead of a tougher game against Mengo Futsal Club. We capture their Assistant coach- Abubaker Sseguya’s reaction coming into match day 2;

Lessons from Match day 1.
The playing surface was abit of challenging, we are used to playing on grass so the Futsal field of Play gave our players a had time.

Preparations coming into match day 2,
We sat down as the technical team so as to shape our players mentally, technically and tactical abilities so that we get results from match day II

Opinion on next opponent.
It’s our first time to feature in the league and yet our opponents have been in the league for seasons, we respect them but it’s a game we are prepared and ready to give them that challenge

Mengo Futsal Club were seemingly the most solid side on Match day 1 with a commanding 8-3 win over Aidenal SOSA and won’t look look for anything below that according to their Head Coach Bruhan Ismail.

“We need to train more to improve on the quality of movement on the pitch and to develop mental strength, we are ready to take on our next opponent but we respect them because they are a good side as well” he added
