Word from our FAU Strategic Planning Committee Chairman – Ben Mwesigwa

As members of FUFA, The Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) is restructuring to have a strategic plan that rhymes with FUFA’s vision to be the number one football nation in Africa both on and off the pitch. 

For Futsal to grow professionally and become a sustainable economic activity within Uganda, FAU is revising it’s 2018-2022 strategic plan to improve on the way that we interact with both internal and external futsal stakeholders and to serve them better.

We are grateful to FUFA for conducting the Football Administration and Management Course (FAMACO) and The Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) for conducting the Advanced Sports Management Course (ASMC) to FAU’s Executive Committee members. 

FAMACO and ASMC have greatly improved the competence of FAU’s EXCo to be able to undertake the strategic planning exercise that is currently in phase one which includes gathering information about FAU. 

The entire process is expected to have five phases to end on Friday 31st July 2020 with FAU unveiling the 2020-2024 strategic plan.
