PSFL: Kyeswa, Asinguza impress on matchday two

Ray of Grace’s Darren Kyeswa and Crayons’ Asinguza Samuel were the most impressive players on matchday two of the Primary Schools Futsal League (PSFL).

Kyeswa inspired Ray of Grace to maximum points after scoring six of the team’s 12 goals.

The youngster scored three goals for Rays of Grace as they rubbed aside Crayons Preparatory School 5-1 in their first game, before scoring twice as they beat Twinbrooks 3-1 in their second game.

Rays’ third game of the day saw Kyeswa still on target as they defeated White Angels Primary School 4-0.

Asinguza, meanwhile found the back of the net in all Crayons Preparatory School games on Saturday.

He netted once in Crayon’s 5-1 loss to Rays of Grace before netting twice in his side’s 2-all draw with Teletubbies. His other goal came in Crayon’s 2-1 victory over White Angels.

Another player who was impressive was Teletubbies’ Darren Ssekajja who also had four goals on the day.

He had a hat trick as the Bunga-based school defeated Twinbrooks 4-2 in their first game before getting his fourth on the day as his side drew 2-all with Crayons.

In seven games played on matchday two, 31 goals were scored in total – a 12-goal reduction on the goals which were scored in matchday one.

Having played six games,Rays of Grace will head into matchday three with 16 points, four points ahead of Teletubbies who have played the same number of games.
