Despite being second on the log, Kisenyi are tied with the leader both teams at 4 points. Kisenyi managed to pull off a comeback win on Match day 2 and will seek add another on the bounce.

In a Question and Answer Pre-Matchday 3 session, we speak to their Head Coach Suleiman Ssekanyo.

About Matchday 2 result.
The boys made tremendous work of winning the game since they came from 1-3 in first half to 4-3 in second half they really amused everyone who was watching the game and it meant a lot to the team since we wanted 3 points in that game which was successful

State of the squad

The team is in good shape now, we are aiming at delivering the best in futsal and we have the potential to play the most entertaining but most importantly winning game because at the end of the day results matter. One of our players ( Ssebuliba Umar ) who was on injury is back and we hope he will be playing the next game In sha Allah.

About their next opponents Synergy.

We can’t undermine them since they are the ones a head of us and they have good ball players and the chances against them look to be 50/50 but our aim is always to get 3 points. We respect every team and hopefully it shall give us the result we need.

Synergy Futsal Club only managed a draw against Park despite opening their campaign with a victory against Kabowa. They will look for all ways of getting back to winning ways.

We capture their reactions and expectations ahead of the clash with their biggest competitor for now.

“We were not so impressed with our performance because we failed to capitalize on the early chances we got to kill off the game, had we utilized them we would have at least walked away with maximum points. We learnt a lot from the game since we played against a team which has more experience with us and we copied a few things from their style of play”- Synergy Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo stated

“Our defensive record is quite poor, we have conceded 8 goals in 2 games that shows how serious we have to work on our defense, we shall introduce some new faces in our next game and we are very hopeful that their presence will improve our team performance”- Ssenyondo added
