Futsal Super League: Rukare Among Match Day Two Guests

Uganda Olympics Committee President Dr Donald Rukare headlines an A-list of guests that will grace the 2022 Futsal Super League match-day Two this Saturday.

Eight games, kicking off at 9am, are lined up for the day at Old Kampala Arena.

President of Association of Uganda University Sports Peninah Kabenga, former Uganda Cranes player Fred Tamale and FUFA Deputy CEO Samuel Bakiika are the other main guests on what promises to be a wonderful Saturday.

As FAU, it’s a big honour to have these Movers and Shakers of Ugandan Sports as we seek to continue developing and take the game beyond countrywide.

The opening day, last Saturday, the Chief Guest was Former UOC President William Blick who pledged his support towards the fastest growing sport in Uganda.

Being graced by the current UOC President in Rukare, is another step as FAU targets to represent the country at the Youth Olympics.

Rukare, a swimmer, is a former National Council of Sports Chairman and as also served as the Uganda Swimming Federation President among other honours.

Peninah Kabenge heads Sports at Makerere University while Tamale won three League titles with Express and will be a big inspiration to the upcoming players.

Bakiika was the chairman for FUFA Electoral Committee back in 2017.
