Futsal Super League: Park, KJT set for judgement day in title race
This year’s Futsal Super League championship will be decided on final day as only head to head separates leaders KJT and second-placed Park FC.
Both sides are tied on 27 points after 12 games heading into the final gameweek of the season, but KJT holds an advantage over their rivals Park FC due to their head to head record.
KJT has garnered four points off Park while Park has collected only one point off the leaders.
On Saturday 25th June 2022 at Old Kampala Arena, KJT will play Kisenyi and Aidenal SOSA and if they can win both of those games, they will be crowned champions.
But if they lose one of those two games, and Park wins both of their games ( against Kabowa Dream and ASKA), the 2021 champions will retain their title.
Aidenal SOSA also have a very slim chance to win the title if they can win both of their games and pray that both KJT and Park lose their games.
Aidenal currently sits third on the log with 23 points, four points below KJT and Park heading into the last fixtures.
Aidenal will battle Talent Bridge and KJT on Saturday.
This year’s champion will pocket Shs.5m while the last team on the log will receive Shs.500,000/=.
