KJT FC have gone top of the 2021 Futsal Super League.
This is after they defeated defending champions Park FC 3-0 in a Matchday 6 game played at Old Kampala Arena on Saturday.
Coming into this game, Park had a three points lead over KJT and hoped to extend it, but this was not possible as the Mengo-based side provided one of the best performances of the season to stun and leapfrog them in the process.
Abasi Kyeyune, Maawiya Abdallah and Billy Nkata (who was making his debut this season) all found the back of the net as KJT became the first side to defeat Park FC thus far this season.
Park had won seven of their opening ten games coming into this game.
Apart from their meeting on the day, both Park and KJT won their corresponding second games. KJT defeated Talent Bridge (4-3) while Park overcame Luzira 7-5.
With this loss despite having the same points with KJT (27), Park have lost their log leadership heading into the last two games due to head to head record between the two sides. KJT has collected four points from Park while Park has collected just one.
In the other games of the day, ASKA Nansana defeated Kabowa Dream 6-4 before beating Kisenyi FC by the same scoreline.
Talent Bridge beat Kisenyi FC 5-2, Luzira overcame Aidenal SOSA 2-1 while Aidenal beat Kabowa Dream 6-3.
