FSL: 45 goals scored as 2022/23 season kicks-off
A staggering total of 45 goals were scored in six games on Saturday as the 2022/23 Futsal Super League, FSL season kicked off at O’Kla Futsal Arena in Old Kampala.
FSL kicked off with Yeak Kabowa finding the back of the net most times -10 goals in two games as they defeated defending champions KJT and Luzira Thunders FC by five goals each.
Kisenyi FC was also the other impressive team on the first matchday as they scored nine goals to beat Luzira and Kabowa Dream Team in their two games. They edged past Luzira 5-3 in their opener before humbling Kabowa 4-0 in their second game of the day.
Meanwhile, KJT had a slow start to their defense as they only managed to secure just a single point in their two games. That came against Edgars’ Youth Program as they failed to hold onto their three-goal lead to draw 3-all.
FSL Action will resume on Sunday 18 June with nine games played in Old Kampala.
