FSL 21 Match Day 6 Preview: Kisenyi face tough task at Synergy for a semis slot

Round 2 of the 2021 Futsal Super League shall round off with much definitive demand from Kisenyi Futsal Club if by any chance have to play in this edition’s semi finals.

The stylish team had a good start to the season but suffered a horrible slump in performance and results midway that so them lose two successive games only to regain some momentum on Match day 5 with a 3-0 victory over Kabowa.

Now they find themselves in a rather tough position and need to succumb Synergy to their first loss of the season or pick a point, at worst if third placed Park don’t win, for a place in the semis.

“ Match day 6 will be a big match for us because we need to win it at all cost so that we book a ticket to the quarter finals , our opponents are strong team we can’t undermine them and they are leading the table on unbeaten run but even us this time around we are ready to rumble with them because we need 3 points from them and it will be their first lose inn sha Allah in group stage” said Kisenyi Futsal Club Head Coach Sulaiman Ssekanyo.

On the contrary, Synergy will play for pride only to keep a clean record moving into the semi finals as the other side along side Mengo yet to lose a game this far and their gaffer couldn’t stress it more.

“Our team has so far performed to expectations of the club. Our target is winning the trophy and from the looks of the table standings we can tell that we are moving on the track”

“The squad is in a good shape, all our players are available for selection. We could introduce some new faces in our final group game”

“Our players are focused on each game that comes our way. We have already qualified for the next stage but we have to keep winning in order to maintain our confidence. Kisenyi is a good team with strong ambitions, they need to win but we need to keep our confidence therefore it will be a huge moral boost for us if we win our final group game” – Synergy Head Coach Brian Senyondo.

Park Futsal Club shall hope for a fall of any nature from Kisenyi and a victory of any nature against bottom placed Yeak Kabowa to progress to the semi finals.
