Victoria Nile group leaders Synergy will match out to cement a deserved place in the Futsal Super League Semi finals against a seemingly rejuvenated Park Futsal Club.
Park picked up a vital and comprehensive victory against Kisenyi Futsal Club on the opening day of Round two to keep their chances of playing in the semis alive and will fight for nothing short of a win against Synergy.
We caught up with Synergy’s Head Coach Brian Senyondo ahead of this blockbuster encounter in a brief Pre- Match session;
How impressed or otherwise were you with your team’s performance at the start of Round 2.
I was very impressed with the attitude of my players, we were two goals down in the opening few minutes but the boys kept their heads up and stuck to the instructions hence winning the game flawlessly.
What’s the state of your squad ahead of Match day 5-any absentees or injury ?
Our squad is in a good shape, no injury threats, we’re training harder and our focus is on winning
What areas have you focused on to achieve improvements in your team’s performances, what’s your opinion about your upcoming fixture?
We are focusing on the tactical approach heading into our next game, we are well cognizant with Park FC’s style of play and we are putting our focus on containing them through the 40 minutes.
We are heading into our next game looking for a point to qualify for the next stage but our opponents are looking for a win at all costs to keep their hopes alive but we’re not relaxing even for a bit, we shall approach this game the same way we’ve been approaching other games.
