FAU partners with Zannya Africa Foundation to mentor Primary School pupils

Ahead of the second outing of the inaugural Primary Schools Futsal League on Saturday, Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has entered into a partnership with Zannya Africa Foundation (ZAF) to mentor pupils at all five participating schools.

This partnership is in line with PSFL objective which focused on providing a balanced program between the futsal sport and educational content.

The young pupils will be mentored on life skills, mindset and values using sports in this case Futsal.

“There is a futsal league for primary school’s going on and so mentorship for the kids in these schools will be crucial. Futsal doesn’t only stop at the pitch that’s why we will go to these schools to carry out these mentorship program” FAU executive member Najjuma Quluthum said before adding;

“We believe this mentorship will help these kids in their day to day lifestyles at school, at home and at the pitch. It will also help them make smart decisions, keep healthy and have fun”

ZAF is a nonprofit organization that empowers youth using sports and recreational activities. The organization has been in existence since 2018 and has transformed lives of several youths.
