Match Day Three of the Futsal Association of Uganda Primary Schools Futsal League delivered excitement, drama, and plenty of goals, with a total of 32 scored across six entertaining fixtures in Kajansi.
The young players once again showed impressive skill and confidence, with quick passing, smart movement, and clinical finishing on full display as teams continued to battle for early dominance in the competition.
Twinbrook Elementary School produced one of the standout performances of the day, cruising to an emphatic 8-2 victory over Twinbrook Academy and Skills Centre. Simon Kakembo led the way with two goals, while Harrison Ssuubi, Danish Lumu, Evans Ayiko, Paxton Kitibwa, Samuel Bugingo, Philemon Nathan, and Diyari Lumu all got on the scoresheet in a dominant team display. Academy managed replies through Haan Mukungu and Kato Fariduh, but they were second best throughout.
Twawil Islamic Primary School were equally impressive, securing a commanding 7-1 win over Twinbrook DIT Centre. Ssuudi Kisembo starred with a hat-trick, while Collins Kiggundu added two goals and Sudais Kizito also contributed. Faris Ssuuna scored the lone goal for DIT.
DIT, however, bounced back strongly in their next match, defeating Twinbrook Elementary School 5-3 in a competitive encounter. Jerome Egesa was the key man with two goals, supported by Faris Ssuuna, Faiswar Wasswa, and Edwin Ariho. Elementary fought hard through Simon Kakembo and Paxton Kitibwa, but DIT held on for an important win.
One of the most exciting matches of the day saw Twinbrook Academy and Skills Centre draw 5-5 with Twawil Islamic Primary School. Timothy Aijuka netted a hat-trick for Academy, with Calvin Smith and Kato Faridul also scoring. Twawil’s Ssuudi Kisembo was once again outstanding, scoring four goals, while Collins Kiggundu added another in a thrilling contest.
Academy later returned to winning ways with a solid 6-2 victory over Twinbrook DIT Centre. Fazil Kariyo scored twice, while Aijuka, Calvin Smith, Haan Mukungu, and Ssekyanzi Abubakari also found the net. DIT responded through Faiswar Wasswa and Jerome Egesa, but Academy controlled the game well.

In the final match of the day, Twawil Islamic Primary School edged Twinbrook Elementary School 4-3 in a closely contested encounter. Sudais Kizito scored twice, while Ssuudi Kisembo and Abdul Mutebi added the other goals. Elementary pushed hard through Evans Ayiko, Paxton Kitibwa, and Simon Kakembo, but Twawil held firm to seal the win.
Overall, Twawil Islamic Primary School and Twinbrook Academy and Skills Centre stood out with strong performances, while players like Ssuudi Kisembo, Timothy Aijuka, and Jerome Egesa continued to shine as some of the league’s brightest young talents.
