The 2025–26 Women Futsal Uganda Cup once again showed how much the women’s game is growing under the guidance of the . Ten teams took part in the competition, all battling for top honours in a tournament that steadily built momentum from the qualifiers to the final.
A total of 13 matches were played, mirroring the structure of the men’s competition. Across those games, fans were treated to fast-paced action, sharp passing and plenty of goals, highlighting the improving technical level of the teams involved.
By the end of the tournament, 67 goals had been scored — a strong return that underlined the attacking intent shown by most sides. One of the standout results came early on, when Mbarara QC produced a statement performance with a 10–1 win over Kabowa Dream Team in the qualifiers, setting the tone for what would be a high-scoring campaign.

The final brought together Mengo City and Entebbe Cheetahs in what many expected to be a tight contest. Instead, Mengo City rose to the occasion with a commanding 6–2 victory, sealing the title in style and confirming their status as one of the dominant forces in the women’s futsal scene.
There were also five own goals recorded during the tournament, involving sides such as Nansana ASKA, Mengo City and Entebbe Cheetahs. While unfortunate, these moments reflected the pressure and intensity of indoor football, where quick decisions can easily go wrong.
Individually, several players stood out with consistent performances in front of goal, playing key roles for their teams throughout the competition.
