Old Kampala, Kabowa Dream Team Stay Unstoppable as Lubiri Falcons Slip Against Edgars

Matchday Three of the Futsal Super League delivered another thrilling night of action as Old Kampala and Kabowa Dream Team extended their perfect starts to the season, while Lubiri Falcons faltered for the first time after surrendering a two-goal lead to a resilient Edgars Youth Programme.

Old Kampala 6–1 Grameen FC

Abasi Muluya scored thrice to help his side defeat Grameen FC

Old Kampala produced a dominant performance to maintain their 100% record, cruising past Grameen FC 6–1.
A superb hat-trick from Abasi Muluya led the way, supported by a brace from Michael Abura and a goal from Ilyas Omran, the 2024/25 Futsal Super League MVP.
Grameen’s lone goal came from Bruno Ssengirinya, but Old Kampala were unstoppable from start to finish.

The win keeps Old Kampala firmly at the top of the table with nine points.

Kabowa Dream Team 7–3 Nansana ASKA

Kabowa Dream Team are still perfect this season

Kabowa Dream Team matched Old Kampala stride for stride, securing a convincing 7–3 victory over Nansana ASKA.
Sinan Kiyaga starred with a hat-trick, while Alex Kizito and Victor Kazibwe each added two goals to complete the rout.

ASKA’s goals came from Mohammed Zakaria (2) and Matovu Akram, but they could not keep pace with Kabowa’s relentless attacking pressure.

Kabowa remain joint-top with nine points, separated from Old Kampala only by goal difference.

Lubiri Falcons 2–2 Edgars Youth Programme

Lubiri Falcons saw their perfect run come to an end as they were held to a 2–2 draw after squandering a two-goal lead.
Hassan Kalule put Lubiri in control with a brace, but Edgars Youth Programme fought back through goals from Hamza Ntaguhira and Andrew Mwebasa, earning a hard-fought point.

The match also saw two red cards: Najib Muwoge for Lubiri Falcons and Hamza Ntaguhira for Edgars.

Lubiri now sit on seven points, slipping behind the early pace-setters.

The Futsal Super League returns next Friday at Old Kampala Futsal Arena with Mengo City, QC Mbarara, Kisenyi FC, Lamansia SC, and Entebbe Cheetah all set for action. Fans can expect another exciting round of matches as teams look to close the gap on the pace-setters.
