Nansana ASKA Futsal Club has officially bid farewell to head coach Sulaiman Sekanyo, marking the end of his tenure after guiding the team with dedication and professionalism. The club expressed its appreciation for his service through a heartfelt message issued by CEO Okolimo Isaac on Tuesday afternoon.

Coach Sulaiman recently stepped down from his role due to other personal and professional commitments that will no longer allow him to fully commit to the club’s ambitions in the 2025/26 betPawa Futsal Super League season.

In the farewell message, the club praised his leadership and influence both on and off the court.

“His leadership not only helped us improve as a team but also brought us closer as a family,” the statement read.
“His commitment to our growth will always be remembered. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at ASKA.”

During his time with the club, Sulaiman worked tirelessly to build confidence within the squad and contributed to the development of several rising futsal talents. His exit comes just after ASKA’s opening-day defeat to Lubaga Grameen, but the club insists his decision is fully respected and supported.

Nansana ASKA will now focus on their upcoming Matchday Two fixture against Edgars Youth Programme, where they hope to bounce back from the early setback.

The club concluded its message wishing Sulaiman success as he pursues new challenges:

“We thank him for all he has done and wish him the very best on his new journey.”

As the search for a new technical lead begins, ASKA remains confident in its long-term vision and determined to build on the foundation laid by Coach Sulaiman.
