As preparations intensify for the 2025/26 Futsal Super League (FSL) season, the Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has officially released the Club Licensing Requirements that will guide team registration and eligibility for the new campaign.
The comprehensive guidelines are structured across five key criteria, each assigned a score percentage to ensure a fair and standardized evaluation process.
Only clubs that attain a minimum score of 80% and above will be eligible for inspection and subsequent licensing to participate in the upcoming season.
Key Deadlines and Procedures:
Submission Deadline: All club licensing documents must be submitted by 31st July 2025.
Player Registration Window: Successfully licensed clubs will register their players through the FUFA CMS system between 1st and 31st August 2025.
Non-Refundable Fee for New Clubs: All new clubs applying for licensing must present proof of payment of a non-refundable UGX 100,000 application fee.
Following the conclusion of the licensing process, FAU will proceed to release the official 2025/26 season fixtures, with the league scheduled to kick off on 26th September 2025.
