In a season defined by flair, fire, and futsal brilliance, Kisenyi FC once again stamped its authority on the Ugandan futsal scene, dominating the Frenzy Edition Team of the Season in the betPawa Futsal Super League.
As the curtain fell on a thrilling campaign, the spotlight turned to five standout players whose performances lit up the court—and two of them proudly donned the blue and white of Kisenyi FC.
At the heart of Kisenyi’s success stood Muhammad Abdulkadir, a player whose quick feet and razor-sharp instincts made him a nightmare for defenders. His inclusion in the season’s best comes as no surprise—a tribute to the countless moments of magic he delivered week in and week out in the U17 tournament. Abdulkadir finished the tournament as the second-highest goal scorer, netting six goals in five games. His individual brilliance in both the semi-finals and final was instrumental in securing Kisenyi the inaugural trophy.

Joining him is Waleed Bashir, who brought power, precision, and leadership to Kisenyi’s ranks. Anchoring play as a Fixo, Bashir displayed commanding performances and unmatched determination throughout the tournament. His presence was not just physical—it was inspirational. He finished as the tournament’s top scorer with nine goals in six games, an exceptional feat for a player in his position.

But the Frenzy Edition was not only about Kisenyi. Ssenyonga Aksam of Kabowa Dream Team emerged as a true revelation. The young star showcased explosive pace and playmaking vision far beyond his years. His selection proves that even in a league of giants, new heroes can rise.

Baguma Paulo earned his place with commanding performances between the posts for Mengo City, who secured third place after a playoff victory over QC Mbarara. His goalkeeping heroics were key to Mengo’s strong finish.

Rounding out the list is Tamale Franklin of QC Mbarara, who guided his side to a commendable fourth-place finish. Tamale’s four goals and consistent performances ensured QC remained competitive throughout the tournament.
