The betPawa Futsal Super League title race is reaching a thrilling climax, with just two games remaining and Mengo City and Park FC locked in a fierce battle for supremacy.
On Friday evening at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena, both title contenders secured crucial victories to keep the championship fight alive and intense.
Stormers Dominate as Tugume Shines

League leaders Mengo City put on a commanding display, thrashing Nansana ASKA 8-0. Ian Tugume was in sensational form, bagging four goals, while Samuel Omara added a brace. John Musasizi and Farouk Tumwesigye also got on the scoresheet in a comprehensive win for the Stormers, who remain top of the table.
The Abdifatah Abdullahi coached side are also on a 19-game unbeaten run since their 7-1 loss to Park FC in the first game of the season.
Park FC Stay in the Hunt

Park FC responded with a solid 4-1 win over Crown Lubiri to stay just one point behind the leaders. Derrick Walugembe was the standout performer, netting a clinical hat-trick to keep the Rangers in hot pursuit with only two games left to play.
Kabowa Dream Team Pull Off Stunning Comeback

Elsewhere, fans were treated to a dramatic turnaround as Kabowa Dream Team rallied from a 3-0 halftime deficit to edge Kisugu FC 5-4. Albert Olwenyi’s brace and a goal from Ali Miti had Kisugu firmly in control at the break.
However, Kabowa captain Mugenyi Swabur led by example in the second half, scoring a sensational hat-trick. His first came immediately after the restart, and two quick-fire goals before the 34th minute gave Kabowa a 4-3 lead.
Carlos Kaddu had pulled one back earlier, and after Mugenyi’s brace turned the game around, Victor Kazibwe added the decisive goal to complete an incredible comeback.

Kisenyi made it five victories in a row in the betPawa Futsal Super League after holding on to defeat Lubaga Grameen 3-2. Ibrahim Azabo, Waleed Bashir, and Ilyas Omran were the goalscorers for Kisenyi in a thrilling and hard-fought victory, while Bruno Ssegirinya and Reagan Kimbugwe found the back of the net for Grameen in a losing effort.

In the other games, Edgars Youth Programme secured a narrow 4-3 win over Kabuusu Cloud, while QC Mbarara ran out 3-0 winners against Busunju Spaks.
