After a month-long hiatus, the betPawa Futsal Super League roared back to life with Matchday 13 action at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Friday evening.
Six thrilling matches were played, with the top two teams, Park FC and Mengo City, continuing their intense title chase. Meanwhile, Edgars Youth Programme secured a crucial win to move off the bottom of the table.
In the title battle, Park FC secured their 11th victory of the season, defeating Kisugu 5-2. Jalil Zimula stole the show with a stunning hat-trick, while Joshua Aziku and Alfred Ssebunya added the other goals.

Mengo City, sitting second on the log, four points behind Park FC, held on to defeat QC Mbarara 2-1. Ian Tugume and Sharif Opuuli scored for Mengo City, while Arafat Ssentongo scored QC’s consolation.

With this win, Mengo City extends their unbeaten streak to 12 games, with their only loss this season coming in the league opener against Park FC.
At the opposite end of the table, Edgars Youth Programme secured a vital 3-2 victory over Nansana ASKA to move off the bottom of the betPawa FSL log. Isma Kagere scored twice, while Bob Atendele added the third goal to propel the Academy up the 12-team table to 11th, surpassing Busunju Spaks.

In other Matchday 13 action, Kisenyi FC staged a dramatic comeback to earn a point against Kabowa Dream Team, Lubaga Grameen secured their third win of the season with an 8-3 thrashing of Busunju, and Crown Lubiri returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over Kabuusu Clouds.
The 2024/25 betPawa Futsal Super League will return next Friday with Matchday 14 games, all played at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
