The 2024/25 betPawa Futsal Super League action continued on Friday evening with six thrilling matches played at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
Crown Lubiri maintained their unbeaten start to the season, while Mengo City extended their impressive winning streak to five consecutive matches.
Crown Lubiri secured their sixth victory of the campaign with a convincing 5-2 win over Busunju Spaks. AbdiNasir Omar stole the show with a hat-trick, while Mohammed Mahmoud added a brace to help the Somali side maintain their unbeaten record.

Another side that continued its dominance over the past weeks was Mengo City, who came from behind to defeat Edgars Youth Programme 8-3 for their fifth successive victory in seven. Farouk Tumwesigye’s five goals led the charge, while Stuart Kafuluma, Sharifu Opuuli, and Abdulkarim Tebera scored the other goals for Mengo City.

With eight goals scored, The Stormers have now found the back of the net the most times in the betPawa FSL – 38 goals in seven games. Edgars, meanwhile, are still pointless this season and have conceded the most goals thus far (34).
In the other games on Friday, Kabowa Dream Team and Kisenyi FC returned to winning ways by beating QC Mbarara and Kabuusu Clouds, respectively, while Kisugu FC finally secured its first victory of the season with a 4-3 victory over Lubaga Grameen.
The betPawa FSL will continue next Friday with the Matchday eight games played at Old Kampala Futsal Arena beginning at 4 pm EAT.
