This Friday evening, QC Mbarara will clash with Fiyore Sports Club at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena for the final Round of 16 spot in the Futsal Uganda Cup.
With 15 teams already securing their places, the winner of this game will complete the Round of 16 lineup.
Both teams advanced to this stage with impressive victories. QC Mbarara dominated Lamansia 8-3 in their debut futsal match, while Fiyore eliminated Kabowa Dream Team after a 2-0 score line.
Ahead of this knockout game, QC’s Gibran Ndikudire Banda shared his ambitions with FAU Media:
“My target is to win at least one trophy this season, either the Uganda Cup or Futsal Super League. I’m determined to maintain my unbeaten record in futsal since last season.”

QC boasts talented players collected from different top teams from last season’s Futsal Super League. Idi Babu, Vincent Abigaba, Gibran, Kenneth Majara, and Derrick Mubiru are some of the top players who were recruited recently.
For Fiyore, they will rely on Abdiweli Sabca and Mohammed Gaabow to replicate their previous success.
The winner of this game will join defending champions Park FC, Kisenyi FC, Edgar’s Youth Programmee, Lubaga Grameen, Grameen Academy, Kabuusu Clouds, Busunju Sparks, First Touch Sports, Motion Sports, Crown Lubiri, Entebbe Cheaters, Mengo Sports Academy, Kisugu FC, Nansana ASKA Futsal Club and Nansana ASKA Academy in the Round of 16.
