Park FC extended their unbeaten streak in the betPawa Futsal Super League with a commanding 7-3 victory over Mengo City on Thursday evening at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
The Uganda Cup champions, undefeated in 14 of their 16 matches this season, displayed dominance from the outset. Abasi Muluya opened the scoring in the fourth minute, swiftly followed by captain Shafiq Mulangira’s close-range finish in the 12th minute.
Muluya orchestrated two more goals, setting up Michael Abura and then slotting in a powerful shot himself, making it 4-0. Mengo City managed to pull one back through Herbert Kalema before halftime, leaving the score 4-1.
In the second half, substitute Sam Kalyango added to Park’s lead with a well-placed strike, sparking jubilation among the Park faithful. Despite Mengo’s efforts with goals from Kalema and Umar Ssebuliba, Mulangira’s quick-fire brace to complete his hat-trick secured Park’s victory.

The Rangers now sit comfortably atop the league table with 44 points, eight points clear of second-placed FC Luzira, who also secured a win on Thursday by overcoming Aidenal 6-2, with Vincent Abigaba and Arafat Ssentogo each scoring twice.
