Park FC and FC Luzira are set to clash for the Futsal Uganda Cup trophy next week after securing victories in the semi-final matches played at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
In the first semi-final, FC Luzira, led by top scorer Joel Ogwang’s hat-trick, defeated Pitch Pirates 4-1 to advance to the final. Edmund Bithum scored the other goal for Luzira, while Victors Chacha scored Pirates’ consolation.

The second semi-final witnessed a remarkable comeback as Park FC overturned a three-goal deficit to defeat Kisenyi FC 5-3 in a penalty shootout following a thrilling 4-4 draw in regular time.

Kisenyi took a slim 2-1 lead over Park at halftime, with goals from Mohammed Abdiqadir Abdi and Hussein Dahir, while Michael Abura found the net for Park.
Despite Kisenyi extending their lead to 4-1 early in the second half with goals from Ismail Warsame and Abdulkarim Abdullahi Mohammad, Park mounted a stunning comeback in the final minutes. Abdullahi scored an own goal before Shafiq Mulangira and Michael Abura leveled the scores, forcing the match into a penalty shootout.
After Marvin Atengeka missed his kick for Kisenyi, Abasi Muluya scored the decisive penalty to send Park FC into the final.
The highly anticipated final is scheduled for next Thursday, 22nd February, at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
