Versatile defender Kitanda Affi has completed his transfer from Futsal Super League outfit Park FC to Express FC in the Uganda Premier League.
Unveiled as one of the Red Eagles’ January signings for the upcoming second round, Kitanda brings experience from four seasons with Park FC, including the ongoing 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League season.
Despite playing as a winger for Park, Kitanda has netted twice this season, contributing to his team’s top position on the log with 28 points from 10 games.
Express FC continues to bolster its squad with Futsal players as Kitanda now joins other additions like Kevin Ssekimbega, Eddie Ssebandeke, and Alpha Ssali Theiry, all of whom have previously featured in the Futsal Super League in recent years.
Saidi Mayanja, Faizal Wabyoona, Abasi Kyeyune, Ivan Irinimbabazi, Enock Ssebagala, Rogers Mugisha, Travis Mutyaba, Sulaiman Mutyaba and Yasin Sabir are among the other futsal players who have transitioned to the Uganda Premier League in recent years.
