2020/21 Futsal Super League climaxes, Park crowned champions

A few months after they had been denied triumph by the Covid19 Pandemic with just a victory needed to be declared champions of the previous Futsal Super league edition, Park Futsal Club’s destiny changed ‘Just for Just’.

The passionately driven side collectively gathered wind in their collective sail after a horrible start to the 2021 season and so themselves back to winning ways, stealthily into the finals.

Facing Big Talent Soccer Academy who were only novices in the game but their impressive performance deservedly got them into the finals.

Albeit weren’t about to deny Park the silverware that should have come in the prior season. With their galvanized experience and resolve, Park put three past Big Talent thanks to an opener by their captain Iddi Babu and a brace from Kalyango Sam that put the result beyond chasing.

Runners up Big Talent Soccer Academy

Mengo Futsal Club put four beyond Synergy to win the bronze medal as second runners up with the later gaining a fourth place finish on the final table standing.

Aidenal Sosa redeemed their slow start to the season with a fifth finish after a convincing 3-1 victory over Kampala Junior Team. Kisenyi finished bottom of the table after losing to Yeak Kabowa who took the seventh position in the other classification fixture.

Futsal action shall return on 3rd, September, 2021 with the Futsal Uganda Cup and Futsal Super finals on the subsequent weekend as the 2020/21 season winds up.
